Event Guidelines
Here is the criteria that needs to bet met in order for your event to be listed on I Love New York.

Event Requirements
- Events must be of interest to and able to attract visitors from outside of a 50-mile radius.
- Events should encourage at least 25% of attendees to obtain an overnight stay in the vicinity—the event should not be geared mainly towards local residents.
- External event website must reflect date and information submitted in event listing or event cannot be approved.
- Events must be legally operated according to NYS tax, health, and local city codes, laws, and regulations.
- Virtual events are accepted from attractions that have current listings on the I LOVE NY website, if the event complies with other requirements above.
Event Submission Requirements
- Descriptions must be between 250 and 1500 characters (not words) to be accepted into the database.
- I LOVE NY reserves the right to reject or rewrite any listing that does not have a compelling headline or description.
- At least one photo that meets quality specifications must be submitted for an event to be considered for inclusion.
- No vertical photos or photos that feature text or logos please.
The Delaware County Tourism team automatically posts major events to the I Love New York website. If you don't see your event listed on I Love New York and meet the criteria above, please submit the submission requirements exactly as outlined above to tourism@greatwesterncatskills.com.
